Kurzbeschreibung

In Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma Infineon Technologies AG in Villach soll eine Nachrüstung der Gasonic-Ätzanlage erfolgen, um die Stellung eines Ventiles zu erfassen.
Dieses Ventil steuert den Prozessdruck einer Ätzanlage, liefert jedoch keine
Information über die momentane Position.
Durch Überwachen der Ansteuersignale des Ventils soll der aktuelle Stand
ermittelt und in Form eines Analogsignals ausgegeben werden. Dieses Signal
wird weiter in das Prozessüberwachungssystem der Firma Infineon eingespeist.
Dieses Projekt wird mit Hilfe eines Mikrocontrollers realisiert.

Abstract

In cooperation with the company Infineon Technologies AG Villach a retrofit of the Gasonic etching system should be used to detect the position of the valve.
This valve controls the process pressure of an etch machine, but does not provide information about the current position.
By monitoring the control signals of the valve, the current state is to be determined
and has to be outputed in the form of an analog signal. This signal is further
fed into the process control system from Infineon.
This project is implemented using a microcontroller.
