Das Projekt MEDIAStream dient als funktioneller Mediaplayer, der speziell für den Lehrbetrieb der HTL Mössingerstraße vorgesehen ist.
Mit Hilfe einer Webapplikation soll das zuvor digitalisierte Videosignal über das Netzwerk übertragen werden.
Dafür muss eine benutzerfreundliche Steuerung mittels Webinterface, welche eine virtuelle Fernbedienung des Media - Players simuliert, entwickelt und getestet werden.
Durch diese Realisierung soll sich eine kurze Vorladezeit des Videosignals und eine Speicherplatzreduzierung ergeben.
Mit diesem System ist es möglich Videos und Filme, von DVD oder VHS, Standortunabhängig im Schulnetzwerk zu steuern und zu betrachten.

Abstract

The MediaStream Project serves as a functional mediaplayer, which is specially designed for lecture on the HTL Mössingerstraße.
With the help of a Web-application the previously digitized video signal should be transmitted over the network.
This requires a user friendly control via a web interface, which simulates a virtual remote control of the mediaplayer.
Through this realization a short preload time of the videosignal and a memory capacity reduction will arise.
With this system it is possible to control and watch videos and movies, from DVD or VHS, in the school network independent from your location.
