ESPA - The electric Vespa

Espa is an project wich should give you enviromental friendly and efficient driving enjoyment with oldtimers. The task is to exchange an gas operated engine with an electric motor. For this purpose a comparison of different electric propolusion methods will be done and the most suitable will be choosen. Additionaly the ECO-Mode will be available, besides energie reclamation it is going to contoll the recieved power to get the best energie consumption. Because nowa days it is more and more about renewable energie and enviromental friendly cars, this project should keep the Fler of the old cars and revive them with new technology. To achieve this the motor will be flange-mounted directly to the existing crankshaft. With this it will be able to achieve higher engine speed and more momentum. We are going to keep the old transmission which means we will be able to change gears and choose between acceleration and speed. This project is one of its kind because yet there is no electric Vespa wich has a Gearbox. The idea for the project came from our partner company I-G04 Technology , the first idea was to build an electric Go-Kart which we couldnt realize.
