Der Netzwerkverkehr der HTL-Mössingerstraße wird zurzeit nicht ausgewertet. Wegen der fehlenden Überwachung können potenzielle Gefahren im Netzwerk nicht erkannt werden. Durch den Einsatz neuer Tools sollen dem Netzwerkadministrator Unregelmäßigkeiten im Netzwerk auffallen. Zusätzlich sollen die heruntergeladenen Datenmengen pro User ermittelt werden. Die erstellte Software-Applikation soll eine Alternative zu den schon bestehenden Lösungen zur Visualisierung und Analyse der Netzwerkdatenströme im Schulnetzwerk darstellen. Außerdem sollen bei Auffälligkeiten Warnungen erscheinen. Zusätzlich werden auch die neuen Tools zur Netzwerkanalyse beschrieben.
Our school's network traffic is currently not monitored anywhere. In times where networks expand rapidly, it's not a good idea to let the ongoings unsupervised. Due to this carelessness, potential threatscan remain undetected and this could lead to sagnificant damage in worst case. Big network manufacturers and standardisation organisations created therefor tools to face that Problem - NetFlow. Via Tables and Networks flowdata via a network device gets monitored, and abnormalities can be dected immediately. Our project is intended as an alternative to already existing solutions for visualization and analysis of network data. We will implement our project in the school network along with all necessary infrastructure, a server with the background SQL-database and the web-application, wich is accessible for everyone inside the network.
