Inspired by the game principle of card games like Hearthstone, Magic, Pokèmon etc. we want to develop a modern card game. In order to optimize the flow of the game, increase variety and simplify the evaluation, we will use RFID technology. The visualization will also differ significantly from existing card games thanks to a touch display.
Each player assembles his card deck from 20-30 cards. The aim of the game is to use the unit cards to conquer the opposing fields or to kill the opposing leader. CoC offers a wide variety of ways to play the game and defeat the opponent. On the display you can also follow the game digitally and plan your attack. You can find insight into the rules of the game and the more details about the gameplay in the RULEBOOK!
The CoC Classic gameboard consists of 2 pages, each with 5 RFID readers. The idea is that both parties can read cards and then give them visual feedback on the attached display elements. This includes a nextion display as well as five 7-segment displays per page. Furthermore, each side has a base in which a figure, the general of which is positioned to represent the player.
The board consists of 2 boards which are covered by a PVC plate. When playing cards, there is feedback from LEDs that shine through this PVC plate.
An alternate version of the CoC board. Built in a portable suitcase.
The board is stowed in an aluminum case to ensure easier portability.
The on / off switch is located on the outside of the case. Other input elements include a button that can be used to end the train and the Nextion display to carry out actions.
