This developed method is designed to measure the volume of an extremity. This Method has the advantage that it is contactless and as fast & comfortable as possible compared to other developed methods.

Der Vorgang eines Armvolumsmessung

Der zu messende Arm wird im Gerät platziert. Mit hilfe der Schrittmotoren wird der Ultraschallsensor an die verschiedene Messpunkte gebracht. Der Ultraschallsensor misst dann die Distanz an mehreren Stellen. Die Messpunkte werden verarbeitet und das Ergebnis bzw. Volumen angezeigt.

The process of measung the Volume of an arm

The arm that ist o be measured is placed into the machine. With the help of stepper- motors the ultrasonic sensor is brought to the different measuring points. The Ultrasonic sensor then measures the distanz of numerous measuring points. The measurments are processed and the results are displayed.
