Our Vision
The project’s target of “Falcon Eye” is the creation of an ergonomic possibility for close aerial reconnaissance.
The system includes a remote controlled airplane with a wingspan of 1,80m as well as a ground station with a graphical user interface for the pilot.
The drone is started by hand and guided by dint of a joystick and GPS support. The pilot receives all flight relevant data plus a live broadcast from the on-board-camera but sits himself in a car. The drone’s principal duty consists of monitoring the area within a radius of about 3km. This function particularly comes into operation when such takes are needed briskly. This is the circumstance in case of natural disasters like earthquakes or flooding. The operation of “Falcon Eye” develops a quick survey of the accident’s dimension and now the aid for the victims can be coordinated faster. Not needing any existing infrastructure a big flexibility of the operational area is given. Because of this reason, security forces can access to aerial images also in inaccessible terrain. The capabilities of “Falcon Eye” don’t restrict on support staff or local conditions, so also farmers and great land owners can use the system to observe their fields comfortable from the air.
