Falcon Eye

The drone „Falcon Eye“ is a remote controlled aircraft designed for close aerial reconnaissance  and equipped with a blanket board electronic, high definition camera and GPS support. The plane is guided by a pilot via joystick and ground station with high functionality. This station includes a clearly represented cockpit with representation of all flight relevant data with the main focus on usability. The live broadcast video plus a map with the current position is constituted in this cockpit too.  Furthermore the drone is able to fly autonomously by the mean of many assistants for altitude, heading and speed. So the pilot is relieved and is able to concentrate on monitoring the overflown area.

Following auxiliary systems are present:

  • Angle assistant:
  • holds the aircraft’s flight attitude steady.

  • Heading assistant:
  • holds the aircraft’s heading.

  • Altitude assistant:
