Description:

  • The main task of the project is to convert an existing Wittmann-robot into a fully functional "3D CNC" milling machine. In the past the roboter was not in use and was located in Mr. Grabners workplace.
  • To make it easier for pupils to enter the "CNC" technology, we have constructed a practice axis. With this feature it´s easier to understand the software NC-Easy and it makes it possible to practice positioning.
  • Because of the noise development and the dust formation Mr. Grabners workplace was not suitable for the roboter. After arrangements with the workshop-leader and our supervisor Mr. Wurnitsch we found a suitable room in the cellar.
