Das gesamte Projekt "Environmental Measurement System" (kurz: EMS) besteht grundsätzlich aus drei einzelnen, voneinander unabhängigen Geräten. Es sollten zwei Geräte zur Strahlungsmessung entwickelt werden, wobei eines ein tragbarer Strahlendetektor mit alternativer Versorgung darstellen soll. Das andere Gerät ist eine Strahlenmessstation. Hinzu kommt eine Luftgütemessstation.

The whole project (EMS) mainly consists of three independent devices. To measure the radiation, we should develop two devices, whereby one should represent a portable radiation detector with an alternative supply. The other device is a radiation measurement station. Furthermore a third device which is an air quality measurement station has to be created.
