DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONCEPT

We use the motor-generator principle to power our alternator. A BLDC-Motor, which is normally used in model flight, is used as our propulsion. The BLDC-Motor is controlled by a "Motor-Controller", which is programmed via a PWM-Signal. The PWM-Signal is simulated by an Arduino. The Arduino starts the test and evaluates the measured data and shows then on a display. Our power source is a 48V Accu-Pack.

CONSTRUCTION

First of all, we visualized our motor and alternator in "SolidWorks". Then, we began to develop all the parts that were necessary for construction. That parts were the clutch, the holding, the housing, a resistor and the electric circuit plan. Then we began with the construction and wiring.
